Bob Keating, one of the founding partners, has retired from the firm after practicing as a trial lawyer. Bob’s practice primarily focused on the defense of complex civil litigation with an emphasis on legal representation of the medical community. KJH is grateful for Bob’s many years of excellent work contributing to our clients.

Steven P. Jones
RETIRED SHAREHOLDER
With a heavy heart we must share that our friend, partner and mentor, Steve Jones, passed away December 8, 2025. His loving partner Maren, and his daughter Andie and son Zack were with him.
Steve was an exceptional trial lawyer and advocate for his clients. He was a storyteller and a gentleman. He represented the best in lawyering. He mentored many lawyers striving to learn the ropes. Steve stood by his word, and he wanted nothing more than for all in the law firm to succeed. He delighted in each of our achievements. Steve never stopped learning, and we never stopped learning from him. He will be deeply missed.
Lindsey H. Hughes

Lindsey Hughes, one of the founding partners, has retired from the firm. Lindsey is a preeminent appellate lawyer. Her practice focused on defending health care and mental health professionals, lawyers and law firms, and non-profit companies and organizations in a wide variety of claims and complex matters and on appeal. KJH is grateful for Lindsey’s many years of excellent work, mentorship, and leadership steering our firm to great success.
