Bio
Todd was born and raised in the Tidewater area of Virginia. After graduating from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, he attended Lewis & Clark Law School. During law school, Todd earned the Pro Bono Honors Award two years in a row, interned for both criminal and civil law firms, and externed for the Honorable Darleen Ortega at the Oregon Court of Appeals.
Following law school, Todd has spent the last four years working with Metropolitan Public Defender. There, he gained valuable trial experience while handling high-volume, high-level cases, including cases involving sexual abuse, manslaughter, and other Measure 11 cases. Todd values compassion and communication while representing his clients, and he prioritizes client-centered representation while being a passionate advocate for them both inside and outside of the courtroom.
Outside of work, Todd enjoys cooking, adding to his record collection, and exploring the Portland food scene with his wife.
