Peter Tuenge, Jennifer Truzzolino, and Paralegal Linda Sandeen Obtain Defense Verdict in Spinal Cord Injury Malpractice Lawsuit
Shareholders Peter Tuenge and Jennifer Truzzolino, with the help of paralegal Linda Sandeen, obtained a defense verdict in a multi-million dollar medical malpractice lawsuit in Benton County, Oregon in April 2024. Plaintiffs, a husband and wife, claimed that the defendant spine surgeon was negligent and failed to obtain informed consent for a complex thoracic and lumbar surgery. They claimed the surgery was negligently performed, which resulted in permanent bilateral lower extremity disabilities. After five days of testimony, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the surgeon after less than a half an hour of deliberation.
