KJH Remembers Our Friend and Partner Steve Jones
With a heavy heart we must share that our friend, partner and mentor, Steve Jones, passed away December 8, 2025. His loving partner Maren, and his daughter Andie and son Zach were with him.
Steve was an exceptional trial lawyer and advocate for his clients. He was a storyteller and a gentleman. He represented the best in lawyering. He mentored many lawyers striving to learn the ropes. He knew how to control his trial themes with surgical persuasion and precision. He was a maestro in the courtroom.
Steve stood by his word, and he wanted nothing more than for all in the law firm to succeed. He delighted in each of our achievements. In retirement, he loved getting calls from our trial lawyers to tap his experience and wisdom. Steve never stopped learning, and we never stopped learning from him. He will be deeply missed.
