Lindsey entered private practice in 1983 after clerking for Chief Justice Robert E. Bakes of the Idaho Supreme Court. She specializes in appellate litigation in state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington. She regularly defends hospitals in trial, and she advises and represents hospitals and professionals in matters concerning privacy, EMTALA, and regulatory issues. Lindsey also defends, consults with and assists other lawyers in their cases, on assignments by their professional liability carriers.
Lindsey currently serves as a member of the Oregon Appellate Rules Committee and the Oregon Uniform Trial Court Rules Committee. She is on the Board of Directors and also serves on the Amicus Brief Committee for the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel. Lindsey is on the Executive Board for the Litigation Section of the Oregon State Bar.
Lindsey has authored chapters for Oregon State Bar and other publications, and she is a frequent speaker in continuing education programs about medical defense, appellate practice, civil procedure, and a variety of litigation topics.
