Jamie grew up outside of Springfield, Oregon. He attended the Robert D. Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon before moving on to the University of Oregon School of Law. There, Jamie was an editor on the Oregon Review of International Law, an executive member of the Student Bar Association, and a trained mediator in small claims cases. Before moving to Keating Jones Hughes, Jamie worked at Legacy Health System and clerked for the Honorable Frank Bearden and the Honorable David Rees in the Multnomah County Circuit Court.

Jamie is a member of both the Oregon and Washington State Bar Associations, and practices extensively in federal court. His work focuses on the defense of hospitals and healthcare providers in both state professional liability and federal civil rights claims.
